High-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) ceramic beads for critical applications requiring the highest level of chemical inertness.
DuraStone Al 99 are nearly pure alumina ceramic beads (> 99% Al₂O₃). This is the most inert ceramic bed material available. It offers absolute resistance to chemical corrosion, even under extremely aggressive conditions.
Al 99 is used in highly critical applications where even trace amounts of contamination from the bed material are unacceptable, or where extreme chemical aggressiveness is present.
