DOWTHERM® RP heat transfer fluid is a highly pure diaryl alkyl that delivers outstanding performance in liquid-phase heating systems operating between -20°C and 350°C.
It is the most thermally stable low-pressure liquid-phase heat transfer fluid on the market.
This stability minimizes problems resulting from accidental overheating caused by open flames during operation, improper heating, or insufficient circulation.
Furthermore, any degradation of DOWTHERM® RP fluid that occurs under normal operating conditions consists almost exclusively of low-boiling-point materials that are removed from the system. As a result, sludge does not accumulate over time. This means that, under normal operating conditions, the fluid never needs to be replaced.
