Fragoltherm® 550
FRAGOLTHERM® 550 is used for unpressurized, indirect heating in heat transfer systems. Typical applications include, for example, injection molding for the automotive industry, plastics processing, and temperature control processes for the building materials industry.
FRAGOLTHERM® 550 is used for unpressurized, indirect heating in heat transfer systems. Typical applications include, for example, injection molding for the automotive industry, plastics processing, and temperature control processes for the building materials industry.
FRAGOLTHERM® 550 can be used in the liquid phase within a temperature range of -10 °C to 315 °C. If the pumpability limit can be increased to 2000 mm²/s, the temperature range can be extended to -28 °C.
The film temperature at the heating element must not exceed 335 °C.
When operating at high temperatures, a nitrogen blanket in the expansion tank is recommended to prevent premature aging.
