Marlotherm® LH is often used for indirect heating of reactors and process plants that are both heated and cooled by a central heat transfer system, as well as in systems where different users must be supplied with different temperatures.
Marlotherm® LH is often used for indirect heating of reactors and process plants that are both heated and cooled by a central heat transfer system, as well as in systems where different users must be supplied with different temperatures.
The thermal oil system must be designed and operated in accordance with the recommendations of DIN 4754, "Thermal Systems Using Organic Heat Transfer Fluids."
Marlotherm® LH can also be used at operating temperatures above 280℃ in pressurized systems. The advantage of using Marlotherm® LH in this temperature range compared to non-pressurized systems using Marlotherm® SH must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Due to its very narrow boiling range of 4°C, Marlotherm® LH can also be used in the gas-liquid phase, for example for reactor cooling or in exothermic processes.
