Rodutherm® W-ECO is particularly well-suited for use in heat pump systems, for cooling and heating industrial processing plants, and as a coolant in indirect cooling systems for artificial ice rinks or ice rinks.

Rodutherm® W-ECO is available as a ready-to-use mixture and in concentrate form. The dilution ratio depends on the system requirements and, above all, on the desired freeze protection temperature. The ready-to-use solutions are not simply dilutions of the concentrate, but each contains the complete corrosion protection package. Mixtures containing more than 60% Rodutherm® W-ECO in water are not recommended, as the physical properties—such as heat transfer—deteriorate.
The corrosion protection provided by Rodutherm® W-ECO is based on innovative OAT technology, which—unlike conventional technology—forms a single molecular protective layer only at the location where there is a risk of corrosion. This ensures lifelong corrosion protection. The thin thickness of the protective layer also offers additional benefits in terms of heat transfer.
Its anti-corrosion properties have been confirmed in standard and specialized corrosion tests.
Rodutherm® W-ECO is compatible with most conventional ethylene glycol-based heat transfer fluids. However, for optimal protection of the system, we recommend using only Rodutherm® W-ECO.
Rodutherm® W-ECO is compatible with conventional engineering materials.
