Molecular Sieve 13X
Large pore sieves (10 Ångström), specifically designed for drying natural gas to remove H₂S and CO₂ and for oxygen purification.
Molecular Sieve 13X is the most advanced type in the zeolite group, with pore sizes of approximately 10 Ångström. These larger pores enable 13X to adsorb larger molecules, including mercaptans and other heavier compounds found in natural gas.
13X is the gold standard medium for concentrate streams containing H₂S and mercaptans. The Li-impregnated variants (lithium-exchanged) are used in ultra-high-purity applications. This material is essential for refineries and petrochemical complexes where air separation is critical.
